Jeeyar Educational trust USA Inc., (JET USA Inc.,) has taken up the task of conducting the noble activity of Viswa Santhi Sri Yagam (Mass Prayer in the form of Homam/Yagna for World Peace) for the benefit of all under the direct supervision of our beloved Acharya, Vedic exponent His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji at Jeeyar Asramam from July 23rd to August 1st, 2010.

The world is facing ever increasing problems today. Citizens of all religions, affiliations and various institutions will be engaged in a Universal Prayer for World Peace, Harmony & Prosperity during this event. This ceremony is prescribed in the Vedas as means for collecting the prayerful energies of all people such that the entire world benefits.

This Sri Yagam will include 33 kundas (sanctified fire altars) that will be officiated over by 108 Vedic scholars (“ruthwiks”) to propitiate Goddess Sri Maha Lakshmi’s Grace for prosperity and peace for the entire world. In addition to Nakshatra Homam several Ishtis will be performed for special grace and individual blessings.
